                      What vegetables should I feed my fish?
    Goldfish love chopped vegetables such as peas and spinach. Tropical fish vary in what they’ll eat. You could try frozen (fully thawed first) fish crumbled boiled egg yolk and some lettuce leaf depending on the species. Certain species of pleco need vegetables, such as potatoes, or pieces of wood that they graze on.
What is the best natural food for fish?
Many kinds of materials may be used as supplementary feeds for your fish such as:
  • terrestrial plants: grasses, legumes, leaves and seeds of leguminous shrubs and trees (see Section 4.1), fruits, vegetables;
  • aquatic plants: water hyacinth, water lettuce, duckweed;
  • small terrestrial animals: earthworms, termites, snails;
                     How do you make natural fish feed?
    Other common feedstuffs used in ornamental fish diets include live, frozen, or dried algae, brine shrimp, rotifers or other zooplankton. The addition of fish or squid meal will enhance the nutritional value of the diet and increase its ac- ceptance by the fish. Fresh leafy or cooked green vegetables are often used.Even though their diet is changing, your fish will still like indulging in a treat from time to time. Some things to feed your pond fish are oatmeal or oat-based cereal or share some veggies, such as carrots, pumpkin, or frozen peas. These snacks will be gentle on their system and give them some extra nutrients.
     
       Can my fish eat bread?
    Bread contains yeast and when eaten by fish, it will expand and can cause constipation for most fish. The most resilient fish will survive however others will disappear as they suffer and the predators take them
    How long can fish go without food? three days to two weeks
    In general, most fish can go three days to two weeks without food, but you shouldn’t assume that your fish can go that long without having a caretaker there while you’re away. Luckily, fish are fairly easy to care for, so whether you’re away for a long weekend or a month, there are ways to ensure they’re fed enough
